Victorian Gothic church with 150' spire which was built in 1850 and which overshadows the historic Romford market area. The present church was built in 1849-1850 on the site of the church of 1410. The church was designed by the architect John Johnson and is built mainly of Kentish Rag with Bath dressings. Next to church house (built c. 1480 - four rooms) and Wykeham Hall (one large room).
