Barbican Centre
United Kingdom / London, England
Location ID: #10135921
Europe's largest multi-arts and conference venue comprising of a concert auditorium, two art galleries, three cinemas, two theatres, three restaurants, seven conference suites, a stunning conservatory with adjoining function rooms. It also has spacious public and foyer areas and underground parking. The external features include fountains and water scultpures, concrete and glass-covered walkways. It has recently been the subject of a multi-million pound refurbishment. While retaining the 1960s Brutalist architecture, the Centre is now lighter, brighter and easier to navigate. The most popular filming locations in the Centre are the main foyers with their large open spaces, concrete columns and flexible lighting, and the Conservatory which remains a real gem for anyone requiring a large amount of foliage or greenery. Depending on requirements locations in the Centre such as the car parks, cinemas and other public spaces may be available.
