Grade II listed parish church (first records 1120); once part of Stratford Langthorne Abbey, set in churchyard. One of the finest examples of period architecture in the borough of Newham. Early in the 15th Century, the seventy-four feet high tower was built, in the Perpendicular style. A long ornate covered walkway leads up to the entrance. The walkway has open arches along the side and a triangular, vernacular, roof. There are grave stones either side of the walkway.
