Art Deco West End theatre designed in 1930 by Wimperis, Simpson and Guthrie. Interiors, designed by Serge Chermayeff, include a two-tiered auditorium with boxes seating 1,224. A fine example of an Art Deco foyer with frieze of athletes on the wall immediately beneath the dome. Three bars, two of which are decorated with Art Deco features.
