Hammersmith Town Hall
United Kingdom / London, England
Location ID: #10136213
Hammersmith Town Hall is a fine example of 1930s architecture. There are various meeting rooms available, including one with a parquet flooring and small stage. The Council Chamber has seats in a semicircle, microphones on desks, and an audience balcony. Mayoress' Parlour: table and chairs. Mayor's Parlour: desk in front of window, also sofas and a large mirror. Mayor's Foyer: long room well lit by the spherical lights hanging in a central line down the foyer. Assembly Hall Foyer: large paintings on the walls in alcoves, combining with interesting arching ceiling. Other corridors and staircases in the building can be used. Offices in the extension of the Town Hall could double for waiting rooms, housing or benefits offices, modern office interiors or a bank - these areas are available on weekends or outside of working hours.
