Waterloo Bridge

The bridge was completed in 1945 to a design by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. It is constructed in Portland stone from the South West of England. The south end of the bridge forms part of the South Bank. The north end passes above the Victoria Embankment where the road joins the Strand and Aldwych alongside Somerset House. There are stunning views of the London skyline.
