Euston Station links the capital to the Midlands, the North West of England, and southern Scotland. The current Euston station was completely rebuilt between 1963 and 1968. The then state-of-the-art station opened in 1968, and consists of 18 platforms and a large concourse. It is characterised by its industrial look, with a textured concrete ceiling.
Other features include a mezzanine overlooking the departure boards, corridors, tunnels, wide platforms. Outside the forecourt is home to several food retailers.
Euston Station is perfect for a period shoot (1960s or later) and the platforms can double for a station anywhere in the world.
Two Portland stone entrance lodges and the war memorial survive from the old station and are situated on Euston Road.
