Complex of Grade I/II listed Georgian buildings including large tree-lined Georgian courtyard, large Georgian Methodist Chapel with Victorian fittings (please see separate entry), small Georgian townhouse with period furniture and decor - nine rooms, plus hall and stairways. A hidden jewel. Wesley's House was the home of the Rev. John Wesley the founder of Methodism. The Museum of Methodism is in the Crypt of the Chapel. It explores the history of Methodism from Wesley's time to the present. There are two big halls and two meeting rooms in addition to the main chapel and a smaller morning chapel.
