Opened in the autumn of 1912, Central Hall quickly became Edwardian London's premier meeting place. Elegant marble foyers lead to versatile meeting rooms both large and small, in a unique location - in the heart of London opposite Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament. The Great Hall - Jewel in the crown of Central Hall Westminster, the Great Hall provides the ideal venue for concerts and conferences. The Hall holds up to 2,100 people with furthest seating only 40ft from stage. Adaptable stage can provide maximum width of 60ft and a choir of some 220 voices can occupy the seating around the magnificent and powerful organ. The Lecture Hall & Library - Holding up to five hundred delegates each, the Lecture Hall and Library are two separate rooms leading immediately from the main entrance foyer. Large open areas, they can be used as separate individual meeting spaces, or ac complementary meeting and registration rooms. Alternatively removal of the central shutter creates and exceptional exhibition area totalling 700m sq with full underfloor cabling and 3 phase power supplies. These rooms also have banqueting capacity for 550 people. As an immediate concert venue the Lecture Hall is ideal for ensemble groups. Westminster Room - The largest of our mid-sized rooms, the Westminster Room can hold a maximum of 200 people. Located on the lower ground floor this spacious room is complemented by the Lounge area which may be hired for registration and related exhibitions. The Media Room / Assembly Room - Both rooms can hold a maximum of 150 theatrestyle. Both rooms are identical in layout and may be found on the first floor of the building. Committee / Weatherhead / Epworth / Quiet Rooms - meetings for the smaller conference are easily accommodated at Central Hall with our range of individual meeting rooms which can be set up in a variety of different ways for seminars, boardrooms, press conferences and training events.
