China Works was built in 1876 as Royal Doulton's headquarters. It retains many original features including the ornate terracotta finishes, Sir Henry Doulton's tower, and chimneys modelled on a campanile. The outside is decorated with neo-Gothic Doultonware. Southbank House has been extensively refurbished and converted into a business centre iwth many of the rooms retaining original architecture, woodwork and exposed beams. It offers office spaces ranging in size from 60 sq ft to 2,300 sq ft. There are good views of the Thames. Caged Lift.
