Situated opposite Lord's Cricket Ground, the synagogue was built in 1925 and redeveloped in the late 1980s. Lined with imported Jerusalem stone, the octagonal Sanctuary is at the heart of the synagogue. 950 people can be seated over two levels to face the raised central podium. The Montefiore Hall can be used as a ballroom and features an adjoining outdoor garden space. The John Rayner Room can double up as a side room to the Montefiore Hall. On the ground floor are also the Israel Abrahams Library and large central foyer. Grand entrance doors behind the striking pillars and portico. There are upper floor meeting rooms and classrooms including an assembly hall.
