RAF Northolt is currently an active military airfield also used by some civil aircraft and is located within the M25 yet in a green belt area. RAF Northolt can offer many features all within a short drive of London City Centre. Northolt has previously hosted filming activites. The airfield consists of a mix of brick mid 1930s two-storied buildings, a 1929 officers' mess, a late 1990s purpose-built terminal building and early 1930s hangars. RAF Northolt has a disused runway that would be available for filming. A large aircraft manoevering area, often littered with small civilian business jets is to the rear of the aircraft terminal building. The Northolt terminal building offers a small-scale airport equivalent, with functioning check-in, security areas and customs sections.
