Cannon Street Station
United Kingdom / London, England
Location ID: #10139228
London Cannon Street connects the south and south east of London with the City, and serves as an intermediate station between London Bridge and Charing Cross. A busy commuter station during the week, it is less busy at the weekends than many other London stations.
The rear of the station is an iconic design by Sir John Hawkshaw and John Wolfe Barry, and the two Wren-style towers still remain today. The entrance to the station is positioned within a modern building.
One of the 1980s buildings built around the station has a landscaped garden on the roof of the station.
