The spacious and modern Central Line ticket hall is closed after 20:00 during the week and all day at weekends. This impressive area has a total of five modern escalators and a booking office, with access from the main road. There is also disused track and platform situated through a doorway behind one of the platforms at Liverpool Street. The track is completely disconnected so no train can be moved in to the area, but the disused platform can be used at any time.
