Prince Edward Theatre
United Kingdom / London, England
Location ID: #10139736
The Prince Edward Theatre was designed in 1930 by Edward Stone, with an interior designed by Marc-Henri Levy and Gaston Laverdet. The formal Italianate style of the exterior conceals a welcoming and colourful Art Deco interior. Entering through arched doorways, there is a spectacular circular foyer with staircases leading off to the stalls and dress circle. The beautiful proscenium arch features a series of alcoves with amber glass covers and imitation fountains on each side designed by Rene Lalique.
