Victorian West End theatre designed in 1870 by CJ Phipps. The interior was remodelled in 1925 by Robert Atkins. Two-tiered curved auditorium with boxes, decorated in blue and gold. Small wood-panelled foyer with ornate cream and gold ceiling. Three bars. The theatre has some early stage mechanisms including a rare thunder drum and lightning sheet. The exterior has a stained glass canopy.
