Originally built in the 1960s, the theatre and performance venue space was remodelled in 2006. Auditorium with seated capacity of 341, spacious foyer with bar and box office. Meeting room and offices on second floor. Dance studios in the basement, with a music studio and stagecraft room used by the Barking College of Performing Arts. A balcony overlooks a large green and pavement space outside and the theatre has a double height glass frontage.
