The internationally-renowned Science Museum explores the past, present and future of human ingenuity. 15,000 objects are on display in a building ¼ mile long, spread across five floors. The grand galleries showcase an unrivalled collection of iconic exhibits, from the full-size engines in the Energy Hall, to Making the Modern World displaying historic items including Stephenson's original Rocket locomotive, Babbage's Difference Engine No. 1 and Crick and Watson's DNA model. The Director's Suite offers a beautiful and elegant library containing books from the Museum archives, accessible by a wrought iron spiral staircase. There is also an in-house IMAX theatre and a selection of cafes and restaurants.
