Potters Field Park, on the south bank of the Thames between City Hall and Tower Bridge, was reopened in April 2007 after a major refurbishment, giving it a granite terraced border alongside the Queen's Walk that provides sweeping views across and along the Thames, lawns that roll back from the riverside walk, colourful herbaceous gardens and Blossom Square, a seated area of blossom trees.
