Chiswick Mall is a villagey street of 17th,18th and 19th Century mansions with shrubbery and carefully designed beds of flowers. The facades are covered with thick creepers and greenery of every sort. The balconies on the roofs make them look like Roman villas. There is a stunning view of the Thames as you walk along the Mall. There is a man-made promontory and a pier with several houseboats. The Mall, Chiswick straddles the boroughs of Hammersmith & Fulham and Hounslow.
