One of London's foremost examples of Art Deco, the former Hoover headquarters was designed by Walls, Gilbert and Partners and is now a Grade II listed site. The building has retained almost all of the original Art Deco features including the fan window design of the front entrance and dramatically angled windows on the office wings flanking the main block. Aquamarine painted details stand out against the white building; and glazed coloured tiles emphasise the clean lines of the building. There is also a massive multi-storey underground car park. The rear of the building is now a supermarket.
