There are more than 2,800 homes across East Village, ranging from one- to four-bedroom homes. Every building in the village has a unique exterior. There are also retail units including cafes, restaurants and a supermarket. East Village has a traditional garden square, Mirabelle Gardens. Framed by hornbeam hedges, it was inspired by London's traditional residential squares. The Wetlands are set across 2.5 hectares, with marshes, ponds, grasslands and dry and wet woodlands.
