St Peter's Church is an unusually light and spacious honey-coloured stone Gothic Victorian/Arts & Craft church. It has a notable west front with a large window and turrets. It also has a traditional vestry, sacristy and Lady Chapel. The nave has wide arches. There are: a notable pulpit, brass lectern, font, carved wooden choir stalls, fixed wooden pews, wall paintings and stained glass windows. There is a 1980s church hall, and a large car park. The church is set in a quiet suburban area with wide streets.
