Foots Cray Meadows
United Kingdom / Sidcup, England
Location ID: #10141832
Foots Cray Meadows is an area covering nearly 250 acres of parkland and woodland and is the largest open space in the borough. There are rolling landscapes, wild flower meadows and trees. The River Cray runs right through the heart of the park and can be crossed via the Five Arches Bridge which was built in 1782. Under each arch is a small drop weir or waterfall. A large lake leads on from the bridge. The stable block and walled garden are the only remaining parts of Foots Cray Place.
