The Royal Albert Hall was built in 1871 and is one of London's most famous examples of Victorian architecture. It is a vast, oval arena style concert hall, including a huge fully operational pipe organ. There are miles of corridors circling the arena. Tiered auditorium; galleries; boxes; grand foyers; circular grand corridors; back stage corridors; industrial corridors; staircases; spacious bars; function rooms overlooking Hyde Park (some noise due to Kensington Gore); rooftop access - great views over Hyde Park; spacious loading bay. For exterior views front - Hyde Park. At back of Royal Albert Hall is a statue, doorway opens out from its base, stone steps lead down to road, other side of which is Royal College of Music.
