Thirty Eight Grosvenor Square

United Kingdom / London, England
Location ID: #10195645

A beautifully restored Georgian townhouse on Mayfair’s most exclusive square. Thirty-Eight Grosvenor Square offers an exclusive location for location filming, photography and is ideal for Georgian period pieces with a total footprint of 567 sq. m. and capacity of 300 across all floors.

Main Hall: with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Grosvenor Square, the Main Hall is a light-filled oasis from the bustle of central London. The room’s crowning glory is the ornate moulded ceiling, which has been lovingly renovated to its former Georgian glory. Along with the original 18th Century fireplaces, these stunning original features bring a sense of history to the otherwise understated contemporary event space. The Main Hall can be linked to the Small Hall through large double doors, creating one larger fluid space.

Small Hall: The Small Hall adjoins the Main Hall through bi-fold panelling, for a completely customisable event space. The opulent painted ceiling, warm natural wood floors and brass finishes are continuous between the two spaces. The hall can also be separated from the Main Hall, with an entrance off the stairwell.

Oval Room & Ambassador Suite: towards the back of the building, the Ambassador’s Suite is accessed through a third blank canvas space, The Oval Room. Like all the spaces, it serves as a stunning canvas, to be used as a breakaway space and provides ample access to water and power.

Ancillary Spaces: the ground floor of the building houses the lobby and Grade II listed spiral stairwell, as well as two receptions, bathroom facilities and a cloakroom. The reception rooms offer additional blank canvases ideal for set design, office space or breakout space.

On the lower ground floor, two additional rooms echo the venues history as the Indonesian Embassy featuring a previous visa office and interview rooms. A small courtyard is also located at the lower ground at the front of the house.
