St John's and St Luke's are two beautiful churches in Enfield, either side of Hilly Fields park and woods.
St John’s Church is a small 19th Century country church, in the tranquil and rural surroundings of the Clay Hill conservation area. The church may be hired either separately from or together with St John’s Church Hall. Its nave is 15.5m x 6.5m (capacity: 120 seated); the furniture in the central nave of the church can be moved and/or re-configured, to provide maximum flexibility. There is a large grassed area adjacent to the church.
St John’s Hall is a modern hall (7m x 4.5m). situated in the grounds of St John's Church in one corner of a large glebe field. Built to blend in with the church, it provides an attractive and comfortable venue. It has a capacity of 30 seated and a small kitchen.
St Luke's is a large and impressive late-Victorian church. The nave is 30m x 14m and provides a very large space (capacity: 400 seated); the furniture in the central nave can be moved and/or re-configured, to provide maximum flexibility. In addition, there are several smaller rooms available for meetings or break out groups. The church has a fully equipped kitchen and refectory area.
