All Saints’ Church, Child’s Hill

United Kingdom / London, England
Location ID: #10312723

All Saints’ Church is a Victorian Gothic Revival church located within a quiet residential area. The church provides an authentic Victorian London church setting with historic architecture, adaptable interiors, a secluded setting and convenient access to Central London.

Designed by architect Thomas Talbot Bury and consecrated in 1856, the church is constructed from Kentish ragstone in the Gothic Revival style. The original nave and chancel were enlarged during the late 19th Century with the addition of north and south aisles and transepts, creating a substantial parish church with strong architectural character.

The interior features a wide central nave, high timber roofs, pointed arches, stained glass windows, stone detailing and generous natural light. The open layout provides clear sight lines and flexible filming space suitable for period dramas, contemporary productions, documentaries, weddings, funerals and community scenes.

The church suffered bomb damage during World War II, and was restored and rededicated in 1952. As a result, the building combines Victorian architecture with post-war restoration, giving the interior a distinctive layered character.

Additional facilities include a church hall and support spaces that can be used for production offices, wardrobe, green rooms and unit catering.
