Description:Eltham Palace is a very film-friendly location and can be very flexible in allowing filming. The large property contains a large medieval banqueting hall (3000m2) and large furnished 1930s apartments, making great film locations. There are some curatorial restrictions in order to protect the decoration and the fabric of the building (guidelines are in the filming contract). The house is an intriguing combination of medieval royal palace and 1930s country house. The house is surrounded by a moat and gardens. The 1930s Courtauld apartments have their original decor. There is a bunker under the building which leads to a games room and great room with pool table and mural. There are institutional corridors and a kitchen attached to the tea room.
