Description:This originally Tudor house was transformed between 1760-80 by Robert Adam for a wealthy London banker. The stunning interiors are one of Britain's most complete examples of Adam's work, with exceptional carved and decorated plasterwork, beautiful carpets and exquisite furniture, almost all designed by him specifically for the house. Many rooms available range from entrance halls to kitchens. Redbrick, two-storey and ground floor basement. Tudor stableyard with 19th century features. Red brick with stone dressings. Located in West London and referred to as an "oasis". The impressive 16th century stable block survives largely intact and is still in use.
