Description:Completed in 1976, this modern town hall complex was designed by Sir Basil Spence in the Brutalist style. Ambient co-ordinated wood, brick and stone interiors. The Great Hall is the largest hall within Kensington Conference and Events Centre and is fully carpeted and soundproof. It has two foyer areas. The Small Hall located on the first floor. The impressive Council Chamber houses a central bank of seating and leather-topped desks. There are five meeting rooms, including the elegant, mahogany panelled Mayoral Suite.
