Description:Little Britain Lake is so called due to its similar shape to the British Isles. It is set between the River Colne and Fray's River and covers approx. 77 acres. The lake's artificial islands were made from hornbeam and birch stakes, combined with woven rooting willow, to provide a safe habitat for waterfowl. A cafe can be found at Packet Boat Marina, which is approximately 250m from the lake. There is also a picnic area on site.
