Description:
A historic and prestigious private estate in Central London spread over 14.5 acres. It comprises of a grand hall and period style meeting rooms The gardens known as Walks, originally created by Sir Francis Bacon, are spread over five acres. The main entrance is through the gatehouse of 1688; above the wide arch is a bay window flanked by niches. The dining hall, chapel, library, and lawyers' chambers are grouped around the courtyards and gardens.. South Square has an elegant bronze statue of Francis Bacon. Fine wrought iron garden gateway from early 18th Century. Hall has steeped gables at either end and late perpendicular tracery.
