Description:Housing estate of which Trellick Tower was the first completed part. Erno Goldfinger's Trellick Tower was approved in 1967 as Block A of the Edenham Street project. It is now Grade II listed. The services tower is free-standing and is linked to the accommodation block by walkways. The projection on the upper services tower is the boiler room. Trellick is the tallest social housing block in Europe. The flats have windows on two or even three sides, to maximise light input and their large balconies are clad in cedar wood.
