Description:King's Bench Walk dates from 1678 to early 19th century, Dr. Johnson's Buildings 1857, Farrar's Building 1876, Hare Court 1567, and Paper Buildings 1610-1848. The interior rooms are neo-Georgian, the main Treasury Building having been rebuilt after the war because the earlier structure was bombed. There is a large panelled hall, an oak panelled large dining room, a painted panelled dining room, and a library. Just west of Temple Bar Memorial is a timber-framed gatehouse that leads from Fleet Street into Inner Temple Lane. This leads down to Temple Church, which has an elaborately carved Romanesque west door and circular nave, 'The Round,' completed in 1185. The Round's shape is modelled on the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.
