Description:Grade II* listed three-storey, brick house built in 1696-97 with Georgian additions. Features include some period fireplaces, stained glass windows, wooden staircase. The house is set in formal gardens and overlooks a small lake. (Please see separate entry for Valentines Park). Following a restoration programme, the mansion now features period rooms, an exhibition gallery and displays on the history of the mansion and its estate. There is a reconstructed Victorian kitchen and dairy.
