Description:The gardens have been developed since 1984 and offer the chance to be in a city, but not in a city. The gardens are varied and form an oasis in the centre of London; features include a wooden arched bridge, a sunken garden, mosaic paths and seats, an artificial stream and some unusual plants. The project’s building was constructed in 1992; an award-winning building made from a wooden Walter Segal design with a unique grass roof.
