Description:Build in 1926, Croydon Airport housed the world's first international terminal, from the earliest days of air transport to its closure in 1959. The last aeroplane to fly from the airport is on display outside the building. Most of the building is divided into 150 office suites but the historic booking hall with a Tiger Moth suspended over it and reception area remains intact with memorabilia and planes inside and out. There are also two restaurants, a Visitor Centre Museum full of fascinating exhibits including a restored radio room and Amy Johnson's flight bag. Parking for over 300 cars. The recently renovated Aerodrome Hotel is located next door.
