Description:
St Peter's Church is a Grade II listed Neo-Classical church, designed by Thomas Allom, with very fine marble, mosaic work and stained glass. The apse is decorated with a copy of Da Vinci's Last Supper. There are galleries on three sides and fine wrought iron gates between the altar and nave area. Pews have been removed and chairs are movable. There are two vestry rooms, two toilets and a foyer room with kitchen servery area for tea/coffee making. The hall is situated on the first floor in Portobello Road,; it's large versatile space, with a wooden floor and large windows that give plenty of natural light.
