Description:Chinatown is the centre of London's Chinese community, with bakeries, bars and restaurants as well as souvenir shops, health clinics, barbers, travel agents. In the 1980s Chinese gates, street furniture and a pavilion were added. Gerrard Street, parts of Newport Place and Macclesfield Street are pedestrianised.
