Description:
The Millennium Bridge was designed by Sir Norman Foster and links Tate Modern and St Paul's Cathedral. The footbridge is a 320m long and 4m wide low level suspension bridge made of stainless steel, wood and aluminium. The balustrade deflects wind over the bridge. Foot level illumination creates blade of light across the river. The bridge offers a clear view of St Paul's from across the river, framed by the bridge supports.
