Description:Fishmongers' Hall is a rare example of a free-standing English Greek Revival town building and is largely unaltered since being built in the 1830s. With an unrivalled riverside location, the hall is a Grade II*-listed building with a unique history, rich architectural heritage, and is home to a valuable and diverse collection of artefacts and paintings. With views over London Bridge and the Thames, the first-floor rooms offer sumptuous surroundings. The crown jewel being the main Banqueting Hall, which was refurbished in 2018. The Court Drawing and Court Dining Rooms share the same level of historical splendour and offer commanding views of the Thames. As well as the ornately decorated rooms, the hall has a grand staircase, a grand balcony overlooking the river, and a paved quay walkway.
