Description:The Jubilee Gardens were first laid out in 1977 and have now been transformed into a soft, green and sustainable park with new flowerbeds, granite pathways and seating edges, 69 new trees and a contemporary playground. Further landscaping was carried out ahead of the London Olympics in 2012. The Southbank Centre's external site jurisdiction runs from the Jubilee Gardens and the Queen's Walk opposite the London Eye to in front of the National Theatre.
