Description:Clapham Common is one of London's largest open spaces, situated between Clapham, Battersea and Balham. There are flat, open grassed areas as well as wooded areas, flower gardens and many tree-lined pathways. There are three ponds, two providing angling areas and the other is for model boating. Features include: an historic bandstand, two children's play areas; a paddling pool, three cafes; an all-weather pitch; athletics sprint track; basketball and netball courts; bowling green; cricket pitch; football and rugby pitches; skateboard facilities; tennis courts.
