Description:A country park in part designed by Humphry Repton. Features include an impressive lime avenue, an obelisk and ornamental lakes. The estate, having originally formed part of the royal hunting forest of Enfield Chase, now lies at the inner edge of the Green Belt at the point of transition between town and country. A successful low-key adaptation for public access has been achieved with car parks sunk in the woodland.
