Built as mansion flats in 1887, St Ermin's was converted in 1905 into a 275-bedroom 4 star hotel in an unusually quiet corner of Westminster. The hotel is shaped like a horseshoe. The lobby is Regency in style and the Grand Ballroom has an unique balcony area. The Baroque staircase in the main lounge and the overall decor in the public rooms are fine examples of the late Victorian architecture and the hotel is amongst the oldest in London.There are ground floor and first floor terraces and a courtyard carpark.
