Description:
Originally built in 1565, this historic Grade I listed building has been extensively re-modelled. The building has four entrances with the main entrance set with a huge columned portico. The back entrance has a clock tower. Built from Portland sandstone, the main courtyard is paved with Turkey stone and is surrounded by luxury shops. It can hold up to 600 people standing and has a glass roof soaring three storeys above. Overlooking the courtyard is a mezzanine level which runs the entire perimeter of the building and houses a collection of paintings of England's history. The area is currently used as a bar, restaurant and private dining room. The central focal point being the curvaceous polished, pewter oyster bar.
