Description:The club was built in 1907, as a private military members' club.An additional wing was built in 1958. It has 230 bedrooms, eight event rooms and two restaurants. The largest of the function rooms is the Carisbrooke Hall, which has a 50sq ft panoramic projection screen, stage, dance floor, balcony and private bar. The room is wood panelled and could easily double for a 1940s ballroom. The club has a traditional sandstone and red brick exterior with a contemporary interior design.
