Description:
Hornchurch Country Park is a 104.5 hectare park on the former site of Hornchurch Airfield. The River Ingrebourne passes through the park and there is a fishing lake. There are flat areas and woodland. Pillboxes and other buildings dating from World War II can be found in the park, and the children's playground includes a Spitfire.
