Description:These massive underground chambers at Tate Modern have lain unused since the power station was decomissioned. They once housed the oil tanks that ran the turbines and will be incorporated into Tate's new annexe, becoming performance spaces and an auditorium. The three cavernous, circular chambers have been stripped out to reveal their dramatic industrial fabric. They are peppered with rusty girderss, crumbling concrete and shadowy crevices.
